Wedding ring
Here is a sweet little ring. Not good for an engagement ring - not enough bling - but it would be the perfect wedding ring.

Such a romantic ring, like when I was a kid and tied strings around my finger as wedding rings.

Now for the collective oohing and awwing.

Fantastic shoes

They are velvet, and should be super comfy for dancing.

I have found the most awesome tiara ever.
Although I probably will not wear it to my wedding, I've already placed a bid on it, and plan to wear it whilst I clean my house.

Yes. It says Diva.

I am registering for this.
Immediately.
If my future groom disagrees, I'll trade him in for one that loves it as much as I do.

I have totally changed my dress.

Yes, I have ganked it from someone else's real wedding dress. But I love it so!

I will also have a nice heavy satin skirt underneath for the ceremony, to make a small train.
Then this will be what I wear for the reception, so I can bust mad moves on the dance floor. I don't imagine I'll be wearing the little coverup that much, if I can help it. I like the dress all by itself.

To make time for pictures,
between the ceremony and the reception, I will have a dance troupe teach my guests (those who don't know how to dance) some fantastic moves. Then everyone will be rocking out to some awesome music, and mingling amongst themselves before I even get there.

Also, I'll be able to save on the hors d'ouerves, since everyone will be busting some maad moves.

Check out thes fabulous centerpieces!

I've always said I was a draq queen trapped in a woman's body.

These have me 100% decided against using cakes as centerpieces.  Perhaps I'll use peacock feathers as an accent?

Now I need to find out how to get the lit vases for the feathers.

Also, the feather motif works well with bouquets...

So, I've decided to do something so revolutionary, you may want to sit down for this post.
I am not going to send "save the dates"

I can't justify sending double invitations.  Instead, I will send out invitations shortly after I pick a date.

I will, however, send out cool magnet date reminders with my invitations.  Cause those are so neat.

Anyways, no pictures with this post, or anything else cool like that.  Sorry.

I'll let you know when I decide on invitations.

Possible processionals.
Both are Scott Joplin piano pieces.  I love them both.  Of course, with a different musician at my wedding, and no tiny keyboards. But Livejournal won't let me add music files.
So.  For the parents, bridal party etc.

Actually, this guy's pretty good.

And this one too.
Possibly as the recessional, if the first is long enough for me as well.

WEDDING FAVORS or how to bribe someone to come to your wedding
Boxes of chocolates.  I've not yet decided whether to just order these from ZChocolate.com (fantastic chocolate from Europe in handmade boxes)  or to buy little cardboard boxes online and stuff in truffles, tuxedo strawberries, and petit fours that match my cake.

The best thing is that whatever favors are left over, I get to keep and eat.  Yum!

Hello my fabulous guests!
You should be able to see me ride off with my groom in this fabulous Rolls Royce.  I think that the vintage limosines are much classier than the new style ones.  (personally)

Come to think of it, I love that dress too.

The Wedding Photographer
Here is the website for my future wedding photographer.

http://www.adamsimages.com/weddingpro/

And here are some of my favorite works of his, which will of course feature *me*

Of course, in real life, I'll probably just get a college kid with similar tastes and a photography major.

Found this dress online. For about $400, they will make it to fit me, and customize with the coloring I want. And it's pure silk - not a satin crinkly thing.

I just hope that this company is still around when I find my groom.

Also, they have lots of gorgeous Indian looks. I'm changing my wardrobe when I get back home!

Unfortunatley, the site has two pictures, and they don't match up perfectly on livejournal. So you kindof have to use your imagination.

Homeindia.com so I remember.

And the Flower Girl's dress matches!
So cute. I am going to have to find a pattern for these dresses. I am not sure how brides can justify making someone buy their bridesmaid dress. It's a good thing I like the *very* simple styles.

Also, I think I may modify the bridesmaids dresses to have a sash like these, instead of the tiny blue ribbon.

* * *
Bet you wish you were a bridesmaid!
This is fun!!!

Here is the bridesmaid dress.

It will be a tea length, not a knee length, and the maid of honor gets a dark blue one.

And as my gift to the bridesmaids, I will make these necklaces.

The bridesmaids get dark blue / black pearls, while the Maid of Honor gets the light pink ones pictured. So pretty! Those are crystal rondelles in between the pearls.
I'll make the earrings too (pierced). Why not? They can match.

Wedding cake
Ok. This is close to my wedding cake.

Only mine will have a very light pink chocolate coating with dark blue swirlies painted on, and dark blue ribbons.
None of this froo froo flower stuff.
And a silhouette of a couple as a topper.

I am thinking one layer chocolate (for my momma) one layer chocolate chip, one layer red velvet, one layer wedding spice, and possibly another layer. I love layered cakes.

Now the dilemma. I saw an idea for a cake as a table centerpiece, a la this.

Naturally, mine would feature fewer gaudy flowers, and would match my wedding cake pretty closely.

So.....

Wedding Flowers
I am thinking stargazer lilies everywhere. These smell soo good, and are so pretty. Also, if I get married in the summer, they are pretty cheap as well. I think I will get a bunch as plants, so that I can plant them afterwards in my garden, for years of pleasure, and the guests can fight over the ones in the middle of the tables.
I can buy this box for $150 from flowerbud.com, and two of these should be able to get all of my decorations done. Maybe I'll get three. Or four. This is my dream wedding.

I'll also have gardenias, as a point of pride. What wedding doesn't have at least one gardenia?

This will, of course, necessitate that I have a throwing bouquet. I think that this is too easy. I'll just get a bunch of cheap flowers and tie them up with lots of tape.

My engagement ring!
This is the one I want. Notice the *blue* diamond - it's natural, not dyed. These are super cool, and they conduct electricity. Of course, a diamond of this caliber goes for about $150,000. (that's appx 100,000 pounds for those of you who are British.

Possibly this is why I am not engaged.
